BiH Contingent to Increase in Cyprus

Until recently, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) was a country that largely relied upon the engagement of international peacekeeping missions. Peacekeepers from around the world have come to BiH, offering their knowledge and skills to people in the region, and providing much-needed security. Today, the security institutions and agencies in BiH have reached standards and developed capacities at a level that now allows us to participate in missions around the world.

Roundtable "EU and NATO Integration – Separate or Parallel Processes" held in Banja Luka

On September 13th in Banja Luka, the George Marshall Centre Alumni Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (MACCBiH), in cooperation with the Centre for Security Studies and the Centre for International Relations, organized a roundtable focused on "EU and NATO Integration – Separate or Parallel Processes". The President of MACCBiH, Ankica Tomić and General Gary Huffman, Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, opened the event.

Action of the Federal Police

Police officers of the Federal Police, in collaboration with colleagues from the Ministries of the Interior of Zapadno Hercegovački and Hercegovačko- Neretvanski Canton, performed an extensive action in the wider region of Herzegovina in early September, with the objective of breaking up an organized drug group. So in Hutovo blato, 15-kilometers from Capljina, they found 13 cannabis plantations cannabis plants.
